Domes
The only way for players to survive and progress to the end of the match is by seeking refuge in the Domes during pulse events to avoid damage or outright elimination.
Domes are strategically placed across the map minutes before a pulse impact, requiring players to quickly find and enter these safe zones.
These Domes not only serve as sanctuaries from the deadly pulses but also transform into hotspots for player versus player (PvP) encounters, making for intense and dynamic combat situations within the game.
As the match progresses, the number of Domes decreases, culminating in a final round where only one Dome is available. This last Dome differs from the others by shrinking during an extended pulse event, compelling the remaining players into close-quarters combat and ensuring the match concludes within a set timeframe.
The game will hint at the approximate locations of the nearest Domes before their deployment, and once deployed, their positions will be visible on the player's HUD navigation compass, aiding in strategic planning and movement.
Looking ahead, the game will introduce various types of Domes in future seasons to inject more excitement and unpredictability into each match. These new Domes may feature altered gravity, limited player capacity, or even house special PvE bosses, adding layers of strategy and challenge to the gameplay.
